Alexei Shamray is the founder of MINDSET Acupuncture LLC. He is a licensed acupuncturist by the state of Pennsylvania and nationally certified. His focus is on providing his patients with thorough, individualized, and comprehensive care, treating a variety of specific conditions and symptoms. Traditional Chinese Medicine has a strong focus on prevention and is beneficial in the maintenance of good health despite the many demands and challenges of a busy lifestyle. More than just treating diseases, Alexei promotes preventative health, wellness and patient empowerment. He is very committed to helping people feel their best and really enjoys his work.  

Alexei graduated from Won Institute of Graduate Studies with a Master of Acupuncture studies. The accredited three-year Master’s Degree program integrates two main acupuncture styles: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five-Element Acupuncture. A rigorous three-year program includes 600 clinical internship hours. Part of his studies included Acupuncture, Tuina massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, and Western disease diagnosis. During his clinical internship, Alexei successfully treated a number of men and women for a variety of issues such as pain management, anxiety, depression, stress reduction, digestive conditions, allergies, insomnia, hypertension, women’s health and many other internal and external pathologies. Alexei received his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Temple University. 

Alexei strongly supports the integration of eastern and western medicine and is committed to helping people reach their utmost potential in physical, mental and spiritual health, respecting each individual as a unique being.  Alexei is a general practitioner treating women, men and children with a wide range of conditions utilizing a variety of healing tools including acupuncture, eastern nutrition and lifestyle counseling.
